Art on the Quay – Kaiapoi’s premium Artspace
Located in the Ruataniwha Kaiapoi Centre with the library, service centre and museum
The space is managed by Jackie Watson and a small team of dedicated volunteers.
Kaiapoi’s Art On The Quay is one of two art galleries in Waimakariri District operated by the Waimakariri Community Arts Council for Waimakariri District Council.

Feb 2010 the gallery has had thousands of visitors through the doors and has gained nationwide renown for it’s wonderfully lit
purpose built art space and fine art gift shop.
The continually changing Gallery walls

surprise in finding a gallery of this calibre in
Oxford. With it’s superb location on the Main Street of Oxford next to the famous Sheffield Pie shop and café and only 40 minutes from Christchurch it is a must see.A number of New Zealand’s leading artists show their work in this fine gallery.

With its large purpose built gallery space the
Arts in Oxford Centre provides the opportunity to
view and purchase artworks from top class local
and national artists.
Our fine art gift shop offers a wide variety of
products handmade by artists in Canterbury
and New Zealand.
The Chamber Gallery is located in the historic Rangiora Council Building built 1907 and is a dedicated art space and chamber music venue.
The building is integral with the new Rangiora Library 1996.
Operated by the Waimakariri Community Arts Council the object of the gallery is to present art exhibitions and concerts for the benefit of the public and to support and assist practising artists and musicians.
The gallery has been operating since 1997
The Rusty Acre is like no other you will ever see.
Over 70 pieces of Steel Sculpture created by Sculptor Allan O’Loughlin set amongst a 27 year old beautifully established garden. Quirky, unique & whimsical ,
