Welcome to Artist2U
Our purpose is to connect visitors and residents to Canterbury Artists.
The Arts Trail allows you to easily visit working artist studios, see pieces at the start or midway through the creative process, talk to the Artists, and understand what their thinking is behind the artwork.
It’s a great way to get out into the country, meet new people and watch them work.

If you are staying/living in Christchurch, head north on the motorway and you can start the Arts trail in Kaiapoi a beautiful river town.
The Arts trail map helps you to easily visit local Canterbury artists, painters, jewellers, sculptors, potters, photographers etc
We have some wonderful community galleries around the district, Oxford, Rangiora and Kaiapoi
Galleries feature a range of exhibitions from local and international artists. These are great to visit – some are manned, some are within community spaces like libraries.
Current Exhibitions
Here we will show you what type of exhibitions there are along with locations.
In addition we plan to have our own regular art exhibitions, both online and at various locations around the district.
We have dreamed of having a sculpture exhibition at the Kaiapoi Food Forest..if you are keen to be part of that, please make contact.
Check back regularly or sign up to our newsletter to be kept informed.
